We are committed to respecting and protecting your personal data whilst it is in our care. We collect your personal information to enable us to complete repairs to your vehicle or provide the service(s) you have requested.  We have strict policies and procedures in place to protect your data when we acquire it, when we process it in order to provide you with the services you have requested or, where you have given us your permission to do so, and thereafter when we store your data on our secure servers for the length of time required i.e. length of repair guarantee or if legally required to do so.

  1. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT

We will only collect the relevant personal data from you or a work provider/insurance company to provide the service(s) required these include;

  • Names and Address
  • Alternative address if required when using our collection/delivery service
  • Telephone number(s)
  • E-mail address
  • Driving licence details
  • Credit/Debit card details
  • Information which establishes your identity, such as passports and utility bills, National Insurance number

On occasion we may need to share some of your data with third party suppliers we contact in order to repair your vehicle.

We will not disclose your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes

Our servers are secure, we have policies in place to maintain all digital and none-digital records we hold so whilst your data is in our care we know it’s as secure as it can be. Our employees are trained in data security, and our policies and procedures help them to understand what is required under their obligations to us, and their responsibilities under GDPR and other policy legislation. 

  1. CAN YOU ACCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA WHICH IS HELD BY US?

We are always happy to tell you what personal information of yours we hold on an informal basis as we have always done in the past and to update it accordingly. However, under the General Data Protection Regulation you may formally ask to see what personal data of yours we hold by means of a Subject Access Request and have the formal rights of rectification and under some circumstances the rights to erasure, to restrict and object to the processing. You will also have the rights to information about any automatic processing.
